The Magpul Carbine II BluRay/DVD video set is very helpful. Also, "Make Ready w/ Travis Haley" on Pantaeo Productions is good as well. Best recoil control is achieved with proper posture and proper placement of the support arm. Wes at MSTN is experimenting with a 17", rifle gas length barrel that currently wears a SF MB556K. Extending the length of the gas system AND reducing dwell time (length of barrel in front of gas port) is where this is at. It's also why a 14.5" middy shoots a little more smoothly than it's 16" middy counterpart. The Vltor A5 recoil system is God's gift to the shooting sports.
